VALE Malcolm 'Mussy' Reeves

17 May 2023 by Paul Tobin

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Malcolm “Mussy” Reeves.

Mussy first came to the club to play darts in 1992. When his children Damian and Jessica started playing in our Under 10’s team he took on the Team Manager’s role.
He then took on the Assistant Coaches roles before taking on his 1st coaching role in 1998 where his U10 Team went on to become Premiers.

Over his Junior Coaching career, he coached a number of our current Senior players including Life Members, Parker Sneddon, Paul Tobin, Ben “Tik Tok” Radloff, Evan Long, Liam Psaila and our current Senior Men’s Captain Kane Barbuto.

His Junior Coaching career was succeeded by an extensive career as Team Manager and he was in the Senior Reserves position for 16 years, which included several Premierships.
Mussy was inducted into the Keilor Football Club Life Member in 2022 following his lifetime of service to the club.

He was a larger than life character who attended most training nights and was always willing to volunteer his services.
People like Mussy are the very fabric of our club and he will be greatly missed by everyone in our community.

Our thoughts go out to his family at this very difficult time.
